Winter is HERE!

      I have finally gotten some snow to roll through onto my mountains and i have been loving it. if you are local (northern california) and reading this ive gotta tell you, the snow on Dodge Ridge is amazing. its a small little hill roughly 45 min  north of Twain Harte but is awesome to ride with so little attention by most outside riders. here is a blog site that i found some useful information on with a bunch of feedback from boarders that have alaready hit the hill Click here to see what im talking about I have to say though, the lifts are without a doubt some of the smallest, sketchiest and by far most unsafe chairs i have sat on... si i would advise against bringing the youngsters.

However if you guys would like to see some footage that isn't from an underground slope, you guys need to check out the BIG AIR show in New York, pros like Sean White and Travis Rice are laying it down big in this video. You guys need to check it out and let me know what you think. these guys are simply insane!

     So I was sitting around, board with all the rain that has been hitting SCU, and decided to look up some video footage on a up-and-coming star in he movie "More Than Machines." The star of the show has to be Ben Horan who is currently one of the consisitent 1st place riders that is constantly progresses how boarders ride today. to check out some footage on Ben, check out this link, i believe it is the footage that isn't being used in "More Than Machines" so thats gotta tell you something about the movie.

Ken Block performing motogymnastics

Hey guys!
So i was jamming through some videos and i found this amazing video of DC Shoes founder Ken Block performing motogymnastics in his Subaru rally car. Its on you tube titled Gymkhana Practice and you guys have to see it. He's block sliding, spinning and skillfully maneuvering his custom Impreza WRX STI around cones, Jersey barriers and one very daring video producer on a Segway at El Toro Airfield in San Diego you guys have absolutely have to see it. If you don't believe me, it recieved 20 million hits in 6 months!!!

New Addition!

Hey ya'll,
So i just learned about a website called Statcounter.com. Although I am only using the free version for the time being, it has allowed me to post on my blog spot page as tpo how many followers i have and how many people visist my site. It also allows my to see who has downloaded what, and how long each person has spent on my account! this should help me a ton with finding out who are my avid followers and listenedrs vs the random person who just happens to stumble upon my blog spot. It's adding hundreds of stats to my blog page constantly allowing me to figure out what most of my readers are enjoying the most.


However, on to the important information. Did anyone see Pierre-Luc Gagnon kick ass in the vert semi-finals scoring a 88.25!!!! that was amazing! however, i think we can all agree, the only thing more exciting than that was Shaun Whites final win with the huge score of a 90.75! the guys are amazing.
But thats done and we are now on to the Winter Dew Tour! the preliminary rounds start in the next few weeks!! but ok, i have to go, time for me to take care of school work. Have a great day ya'll!!

Dew Tour

Readers, I am sorry there are multiple other blogs up on my page. things got a little confusing in the proceess of creating this blog. But HOW ARE YOU?! Have you guys been following the dew tour?  I wanted to comment on the recent results of the amatuer WWA finals in Orlando Florida?? that young kid from Australia landed some pretty insane roations, plus his whirly bird to blind was pretty insane. Okay, I think I'm the last one thats finishing up with their blog, so i think im gona sign out and get on with these tasks.


One last thing. Remeber, the skate finals will be held in Vegas from October 14-17. be sure to watch as there will be tons of pro athletes from all over the world coming to ride and skate both vert and park.
